Dear Sudbury:
As the annual town election day dawns tomorrow (MONDAY 3/31), I am grateful to all of you for your time in listening to my vision for Sudbury, my record of service, and my answers to your questions. I thank all of you who cheered me, talked to me, opened their doors for a quick hello or a long sit-down conversation.
My family and I have called Sudbury home for nearly 28 years, and over 26 of those years, I’ve been dedicated to serving our town. Public service for me is an act of gratitude.
I’m running for Select Board to strengthen our infrastructure, support our schools, expand recreation, and promote sustainability — all while being fiscally responsible and ensuring Sudbury remains an inclusive, safe community for everyone.
I have written about my leadership and real results:
- in conserving energy and saving the town money, advancing technology, creating equitable athletic fields,
- strengthening finances,
- fostering inter-school-district collaboration, promoting communication and transparency, and sharing my knowledge with the public and leaders.
I also talked to you about
- after-school programs,
- completing the rail trails, and
- Route 20 economic development (on my Facebook page)

I believe in doing the quiet, hard work — pushing through obstacles not for recognition, but because it’s the right thing to do. My leadership is grounded in my core values and a passion for service, always focused on the work, not personal differences.
Guided by fairness, respect, inclusion, service, and responsibility, I will serve all of Sudbury — for us, our children, and future generations.
I respectfully ask for your vote tomorrow, Monday, March 31.
All of us have a unique role in our cherished democracy – listening to the candidates and vote according to our conscience and values. No matter who you vote for, please vote.
Local elections impact our quality of life, our children, and how we care for each other now and in the future.
Please return your mail ballot to the drop box behind Town Hall or vote in person by 8 p.m. Monday.
In-person voting for all six Sudbury precincts is at Fairbank Community Center, 40 Fairbank Rd. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
I’m filled with gratitude to all of you for your time.
Best regards,
-Radha Gargeya, Candidate for Select Board
