Join The Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable for our KICKOFF program, joined by the Massachusetts Women of Color Network. We will explore how race, gender, class, immigration status, disability, sexuality, and community reputation can affect a survivor’s experience of domestic and sexual violence and their ability to seek safety and support.This program will take place on Monday,September 28,2026 at 7PM on Zoom.
Participants will consider how community leaders, service providers, organizations, and residents can create more culturally responsive and survivor-supportive communities—and how all of us can better respond when someone discloses abuse.
This presentation will be led by Kishana Osei, the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Women of Color Network (MAWOCN), and the Overnight Residential Counselor at REACH Beyond Domestic Violence. With a profound commitment to the field of anti-violence work, she brings over 15 years of experience in advocacy, direct services for survivors, housing advocacy, program development, and a Bachelor’s’ degree in business management. Kishana openly identifies as a survivor of domestic violence and other injustices, and states that her personal experiences led her to this work, where she has found joy, healing, and purpose.
