The flu clinic held on September 23rd at the Senior Center was a true gift for Sudbury seniors. I want to thank Vivian Zeng and the entire Department of Health for providing this important service so pleasantly and efficiently. Advance online registration (on a handy platform that keeps an accessible record of my immunization) was convenient. At the event, the many welcoming staffers eliminated long waits in line. The process moved smoothly and quickly from start to finish, accompanied by background music! Louise Bendel administered my shot and reminded me that getting a shot is much better than getting the flu. While she shared these wise words, the injection was actually painless. Thank you, Louise!
The Department of Health is working overtime this fall to keep Sudbury residents healthy. The flu season has already started, and I’m grateful for the work that the Department of Health is carrying out to protect our community.
