Jeannette passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025. Born January 21, 1925, she was the daughter of Albert Gosselin and Marion (LaCasse) Gosselin.
Jeannette was predeceased by her late husband John Charles Willey. She is survived by four loving children: Cheryl Ann (Willey) Rowland, her husband Michael, and their two daughters Amelia and Jennifer; Suzanne Jean (Willey) Belcher, her husband David, and their son Samuel; Stephen Charles Willey, his daughter Tanya, and son Spencer; and Lianne Margaret (Willey) Learnard, her daughter Heather, and son Keith. Jeannette will also be missed by her four great grand children whom she adored.
Jeannette was born in Holyoke, MA and later moved to Claremont, NH where she resided for many years before moving to Holyoke, MA where she met John. They married and eventually moved to Sudbury where they raised their family.
Jeanette worked many years at Josiah Haynes Elementary School as the school Librarian and Media Aide. She loved to knit, crochet, garden, dance, sew, go to the movies, and spend time at the beach.
For many years Jeanette enjoyed her Friday morning breakfast club with colleagues and retired colleagues from the Haynes school. She is remembered by many as a smart, helpful, happy, kind, and warm soul, with a special twinkle. She loved to have “Pie on Tuesdays”; blueberry was her favorite.
Calling hours will be Monday December 29th, 930 am, at Stringer Funeral home in Claremont, NH with services immediately following at St. Mary’s Church in Claremont, NH.
