Thanksgiving is about the people around the table, not the hours in the kitchen. This year, Concord Market can take the cooking off your list.
The market’s kitchen and bakery are making a full holiday menu from scratch with quality ingredients. It includes roasted turkeys, classic sides, and fresh-baked pies and rolls. New this year is a Meal Deal that bundles the whole dinner into one order, at a better price than buying each dish on its own.
The Meal Deal
The Meal Deal comes in two sizes: $239 for 4 to 6 people and $389 for 8 to 10 people. Both include a complete traditional Thanksgiving dinner:
- Cooked turkey
- Signature herbed stuffing
- Turkey gravy
- Cranberry sauce
- Creamy mashed potatoes
- Maple-glazed carrots
- House-made dinner rolls
- Apple crisp pie
The packages come as listed. To add a favorite side or a second dessert, customers can order it à la carte from the rest of the menu.
Build Your Own Feast
If you’d rather pick each dish yourself, the full holiday menu has plenty to choose from.
From the Butcher
Free-range Misty Knoll turkeys and air-chilled, antibiotic-free Bell & Evans turkeys come cooked or uncooked. The cooked birds are dry-brined and finished with herb butter. There’s also a North Country cooked spiral ham, about 9 to 11 pounds. The market suggests planning on about 1½ pounds of meat per guest.
From the Kitchen
Sides come in pints, which serve 1 to 2, and quarts, which serve 3 to 4. Prices start at $7.99. Along with the classics, choices include green beans almondine, mustard Brussels sprouts with bacon, roasted butternut squash and creamy mac and cheese. There are also two soups, pumpkin bacon and butternut apple.
From the Bakery
Pies include pumpkin ($20.99), apple crisp ($24.99), blueberry ($24.99) and chocolate bourbon pecan ($27.99). Pies and quiches can be made gluten-friendly. For the bread basket, there are cranberry pecan rolls, jumbo sweet biscuits, honey butter cornbread, a holiday bread wreath and a limited supply of pumpkin-shaped sourdough loaves.
For Entertaining
Catering boards serve 10 to 12, including a vegetable crudité board ($125), a market cheese board ($175) and a charcuterie board ($185). The market has also picked six wines for the holiday table, from Sancerre to Bordeaux. To finish the table, there’s a fresh floral centerpiece in a ceramic pumpkin vase for $59.99, while supplies last.
Order by Nov. 21
The ordering deadline is Saturday, Nov. 21. Orders are picked up at the market on Tuesday, Nov. 24, or Wednesday, Nov. 25, so you’ll have everything in hand before the holiday.
To order, visit theconcordmarket.com, call (978) 369-7500, or stop by the market at 77 Lowell Road in Concord. Choose your pickup date when you order, and tell the staff about any food allergies; the kitchen works with all major allergens. Wine buyers must be 21 or older, and IDs are checked at pickup.
