I am dedicated to the continued success of the District, helping to provide you with a sustainable supply of clean, safe, and affordable drinking water. I look forward to continuing my service to the District for another three years and would be honored to receive your vote!
I’m your neighbor and incumbent Water Commissioner, Bob Sheldon, and I’m seeking re-election for another three-year term. I would greatly appreciate your vote at the District’s Annual Election at 199 Raymond Road on May 20. Polls are open between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, but there is also an option to vote by absentee ballot*.
My credentials:
- Commissioner since 1989
- Registered professional engineer with over 45 years in the water industry
- Board Certified Environmental Engineer
- 35 years active member of New England and American Water Works Associations
- BSCE and MS (Environmental Engineering) – Tufts University
That background has enabled me to work in collaboration with District staff and fellow commissioners to
- Establish capital improvement plans, both short- and long-term
- Upgrade water mains, wells, pumps, storage tanks, and treatment plants – addressing ever-changing water quality and regulatory challenges
- Expand water supply sources and protect existing ones
- Maintain the District’s strong financial position, minimizing costs through innovative approaches and securing grants and other outside funding
- Maintain low water rates
- Maintain a highly professional office and field staff
- Coordinate with the Town of Sudbury on their projects and initiatives
Thank you!
*Absentee ballots will be available from April 29 through noon on May 20 for those who cannot vote in person when polls are open. More information is available at https://www.sudburywater.com/voting-absentee-ballot-2025/
