We hope you can join us on Sunday, March 30 from 3-4 p.m. at the Goodnow Library for our next gathering of Should This Book Be in School?
We will discuss three picture books that feature children exploring who they are and what they like: Jacob’s New Dress by Sarah and Ian Hoffman, Mary Wears What She Wants by Keith Negley, and Pink is for Boys by Robb Pearlman. Each of these books has been challenged or banned in multiple states. The books are available at Goodnow Library or by request within the Minuteman Library network. We invite you to read them before we meet if you wish; we will also read them as part of the discussion.
Space is limited. Find more information and register here.
Should This Book Be in School? is a challenged book discussion series co-sponsored by Sudbury for Racial and Social Justice and the Goodnow Library.
