“You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.”
– Abraham Lincoln
Dear Residents and Voters of Sudbury,
This year’s election is an opportunity to continue building a Select Board that is transparent, collaborative, and committed to serving the entire community. We bring a shared vision for Sudbury’s future—one that prioritizes responsible governance, fiscal discipline, and meaningful engagement with residents.
We believe Select Board members must be accountable to the public, grounded in facts, and open to different perspectives. The role is not about advancing agendas or soundbites—it’s about working in partnership with the community to solve real challenges thoughtfully and fairly.
Transparency Is Leadership
For us, transparency isn’t just a campaign promise—it’s how we lead. It means sharing all available facts, listening before deciding, and ensuring that residents are part of the process, even when there are disagreements. Transparency also means acknowledging when something goes wrong, taking responsibility, and working together to improve.
Unfortunately, when incomplete information or disinformation circulates, it divides our community and makes it harder to find common ground. Real transparency builds trust. That’s what we’re committed to delivering—during the campaign and in office.
Throughout this campaign, we’ve shared:
✔️ Facts about our records of public service in education, finance, and governance
✔️ Facts about Sudbury’s budget and financial sustainability
✔️ Facts about vocational education and opportunities for our students
We’ve welcomed questions, encouraged feedback, and taken time to speak with residents across town. That openness will continue if we are elected.
Accountability Builds Trust
To us, accountability means more than answering to voters—it means staying grounded in our values, acting with integrity, and treating others with respect. It means asking tough questions, following the data, and never using blame as a tool. We’re here to build up our community, not weaken it.
We are also accountable to our shared vision of Sudbury as a town that values civil dialogue, responsible planning, and inclusive progress. That’s the kind of leadership we’ll bring to the table.

Collaborative Leadership for a Stronger Sudbury
We may not agree on every issue—but we do agree on how we approach disagreements: with respect, humility, and a focus on what’s best for the community. If we disagree, it will be on policy—not personal. Our community benefits from a range of perspectives, and we welcome constructive debate.
Our vision for Sudbury is one where government listens, communicates clearly, and leads with purpose—not fear. We are prepared to face the town’s challenges head-on, including:
• Managing growth in a way that reflects community values
• Protecting the high quality of services Sudbury residents expect
• Maintaining strong, well-funded schools
• Supporting seniors, families, and future generations
Together, we will make informed, data-driven decisions rooted in long-term thinking and community input.
We Need Your Vote
By voting for both of us, you’re supporting leaders who respect facts, foster trust, and will work for the entire community. We are ready to lead with clarity, care, and a shared commitment to Sudbury’s future.
Please stay engaged, ask questions, and most importantly—vote on March 31. Together, we can keep Sudbury moving forward with integrity and vision.
Warmly,
Lisa Kouchakdjian & Radha Gargeya
