Sudbury, MA (May 1, 2026) The Sudbury 250 Committee cordially invites Sudbury residents of all ages to the Sudbury 250 Day on May 16, 2026. The day is uniquely Sudbury and deeply rooted in the American Revolution. The fun and festive program is FREE to the public and offers valuable insight into our nation’s history.
The Sudbury 250 Committee is celebrating and commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. The Committee has held numerous events around the 250th anniversary.
We cordially invite you to join us for Sudbury 250 Day. This event is the capstone of our 250 anniversary celebrations, and we would love for you to join us for this one-of-a-kind event. Sudbury 250 Day will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2025, in and around Sudbury Town Center from 10 AM to 3 PM.
Sudbury 250 Day will include:
• Living history demonstrations
• The Sudbury Companies of Militia & Minute
• Sudbury Ancient Fyfe & Drum Company
• Cannon firing demonstration
• Craft vendors
• Food trucks
• Children’s games
• Colonial music and dancing for all
• ‘Declaring Independence: Then and Now’ – an award-winning performance that brings the Declaration of Independence alive with living-history performers
• Guided tours of Revolutionary War Cemetery, Loring Parsonage, Hosmer House, Hearse House, and Town Pound
• Self-guided tours of the historic Town Center area and places of interest
• And much more
Sudbury 250 Day is expected to draw people from far and wide to enjoy what promises to be a major event.
