Dear Sudbury,
My heartfelt thanks and warm regards to all the candidates who stepped forward with passion, dedication, and conviction to serve our town.
Democracy in Sudbury unfolded with its quiet strength, as neighbors made thoughtful choices that reflect both care and commitment to our shared future.
Thank you to Kevin Matthews and each and every candidate—for your hard work, your camaraderie, and your campaigns. In democracy, there are no winners or losers—only the strength of the process and the will of the people.
Congratulations to those who prevailed.
To all who supported me, advised me, challenged me, welcomed me at your doors, and lifted me up—I am deeply humbled by your trust. The town spoke with clarity, and all of us heard it.
Now, the work begins.
I look forward to serving with purpose and gratitude, always guided by what is best for Sudbury.
I will work to strengthen our infrastructure, support our schools, expand recreational opportunities, and promote sustainability—while ensuring fiscal responsibility and protecting the inclusive, welcoming spirit that makes Sudbury so special.
I am honored to serve alongside my fellow Select Board members, including Lisa Kouchakdjian, who begins her second term. I look forward to working with her, our excellent town staff, and with every board and committee—each of which is made up of dedicated volunteers committed to making our town better.
Sudbury is a remarkable place, steeped in history and rich with possibility. As we’ve seen time and again, what begins here can inspire far beyond our moment.
Let us rise to meet that moment.
We have work to do. We have good work to do.
With gratitude,
