As a Sudbury parent, I’m asking neighbors to vote no on Article 4 at the May 20 Special Town Meeting. The school committee this petition targets fought for summer learning programs, established formal support structures for special education families, and gracefully managed budget cuts. When I think about what I actually want for my kids in this school system, it’s people who show up and do the unglamorous work. This committee has, and the accusations in the petition haven’t been substantiated by any state authority.
