Support for the School Committee

I am forever appreciative of the work the Sudbury School Committee has undertaken this year. They voiced concern and demanded accountability and solutions for the superintendent’s decision to wipe out longstanding summer programming, even for students already enrolled, without consulting staff, the school committee, or families. They also spent countless hours finalizing long awaited teacher and nurse contracts and contracts with after-school providers, which families and students cannot live without. I was also glad to see them go through this year’s proposed budget line-by-line, and ask thoughtful questions and request documentation to support the rationale. I support the Sudbury School Committee and appreciate these efforts.
