I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Vivian Zeng, Sudbury’s Director of Health and Community Services, for all the work that she and her team did last year when we were dealing with a noise issue. Our community of townhouses on Farmstead Lane back up to the Chiswick Park industrial park, and, unfortunately, last year one of the Chiswick tenants was running a very loud, industrial-sized air conditioning unit 24/7. The noise was unbearable. We could not sit outside on our decks or even have our windows open during the cooler nights.
Ms. Zeng’s diligent work on our behalf led to the construction of a wooden barrier which seems to have muted some of the noise this year. We were so pleased to once again be able to sit outside and to open our windows; the difference has been noticeable.
Thank you for truly caring about the residents of Sudbury.
