Our Sudbury weather was quite dry for October. Pretty much the theme for 2026. Just one significant rain event which was the leftovers from the hurricane that came up the coast. That delivered 1.64 inches of rain and the month total was 2.17 inches. Roughly a 2 inch deficit. Year to date values are:
2026: 30.88 inches
2025: 35.93 inches
2024: 37.78 inches
2023: 52.37 inches
The high temperature for the month was 83 degrees and the low temperature was 27 degrees. We did have 9 nights which dipped to or below 32, so some frosty mornings. The last few Novembers have also been fairly dry but let’s hope we can break that pattern this year. We currently have about a 9 inch rainfall deficit for 2026. Enjoy the beautiful Sudbury colors.
