Do you know how lucky you are to live in a town with not one but two active and dedicated garden clubs? The Sudbury Garden Club and the Thursday Garden Club of Sudbury both work hard in many ways to bring joy and plants into the lives of Sudbury citizens:
We care for public gardens & traffic island containers.
We travel around town in the summer following a watering truck to keep many plants hydrated.
We have fun meetings with garden related speakers and often invite the public.
We welcome new members.
We give scholarships to seniors in high school who live in Sudbury and plan to pursue gardening and/or environmental studies.
We decorate the Wayside Inn for the holidays.
We enter Flower shows at Worcester Art Museum and the MFA in Boston.
We display original flower arrangements at Goodnow Library.
We have fundraisers in May:
Sudbury Garden Club has it’s annual Plant Sale, online starting April 30th and in person on Saturday, May 10th at Town Hall: sudburygardenclub.org
Thursday Garden Club has its annual Fairy Garden on Sunday, May 18th at the Wayside Inn
We have Facebook pages where you can find out so much more about us!
