Get ready for a night of culinary competition and community spirit. Open Table, the MetroWest non-profit dedicated to fighting food insecurity, has officially announced the lineup for its 2026 Chopped for Charity gala.
The high-energy fundraiser will take place on Friday, May 1, at the Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord. Returning to lead the festivities as Master of Ceremonies is popular chef and television personality Joe Gatto.
The heart of the evening features three acclaimed local chefs facing off in a fast-paced cooking challenge:
- Joubert Amazan: Founder of Kitchen Harmony LLC with a background in Disney culinary operations.
- Erin Harleman: Owner of Metrowest’s The Saucy Plate, specializing in custom, health-focused menus.
- Audley Mills: A celebrated “culinary maestro” known for blending Caribbean heritage with global flavors and winning multiple Boston JerkFest titles.
Honoring Local Leadership
This year’s event carries special significance as Open Table honors Patty Chambers, Board Chair emerita. Chambers has dedicated 12 years to the Board of Directors, including three years as chair.
“Patty is an Open Table champion,” said Executive Director Alexandra DePalo. “We are thrilled to honor and thank her.” The organization will also recognize Middlesex Savings Bank for its continued partnership in the mission to end hunger.
