Fans of Bueno Y Sano will soon have a new option for Mexican-inspired cuisine in the Maynard Crossing plaza. A new restaurant called Burrito Rose will be opening in the former Bueno Y Sano location. The restaurant will open “soon” according to their Facebook page.
Burrito Rose is a fast-casual concept, and aims to capture the appetites of MetroWest residents with a menu packed with popular dishes. According to preliminary details, patrons can look forward to a wide variety of options, including: customizable burritos and burrito bowls made with fresh, whole ingredients. Pictures of the menu also highlight tacos and quesadillas tailored to order, as well as a variety of traditional, savory Mexican sides, salsas, and toppings.
The menu also features “sweets & treats,” which includes tres leches cake — an indicator that these folks aren’t messing around. Appetizers include four distinct styles of nachos, and the tortilla chips are “house-cooked” according to the menu.
The transition comes after the space’s former tenant, Bueno Y Sano, vacated the spot. For Sudbury residents who frequently travel just over the town line down Route 27 or Route 117 to shop at the plaza’s anchor Market Basket, Burrito Rose will provide another dining option in a plaza that has a dynamic mix of retailers and restaurants.
