Sudbury native and State Representative candidate Ravi Simon has secured an endorsement from U.S. Senator Ed Markey as the November 3 election approaches.
For Simon, the campaign for the 13th Middlesex District is personal. He is a lifelong Sudbury resident who grew up in town, attended Sudbury Public Schools, and graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. He has continued to serve his hometown as chair of the Lincoln-Sudbury School Committee and is now running to bring his perspective to the State House, representing Sudbury alongside Wayland, Lincoln, Concord, and Marlborough.
Senator Markey praised Simon’s progressive vision and extensive background in constituent services.
“Ravi Simon represents the next generation of thoughtful, dedicated progressive leadership that Massachusetts needs in the State House. Through his hands-on work in constituent services and local government, he has proven that he knows how to deliver real results for the people of Sudbury, Wayland, Lincoln, Concord, and Marlborough,” Senator Markey said. He emphasized their shared commitment to accelerating climate action, expanding housing, defending immigrant communities, and making Massachusetts more affordable.
Simon expressed his gratitude for the support, noting Senator Markey’s long career fighting for working families and Massachusetts values.
Voters will head to the polls for the general election on November 3.
