Congratulations to Victor Garofalo and the Finance Staff

Congratulations to Assistant Town Manager/Finance Director Victor Garofalo and the Finance Staff on the Town’s receiving the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) Town Budget from the Government Finance Officers Association. This is a deserved recognition of their commitment to meet the highest principles of governmental budgeting which benefits the Town and the taxpayers.

Also, as a long-time past member of the Sudbury Finance Committee, I commend Mr. Garofalo on his FY26 Budget to Actual Report. I appreciate this thorough and transparent report and recommend it to anyone who would like to understand the financial position of the Town and the particulars of the past years’ revenues and expenditures. If you are interested, the report starts on page 86 of the Supporting Materials of the Select Board’s August 11^th meeting.
