Thank you, Planning Board

Thank you to the members of the Planning Board for your public hearing and your thoughtful response to Eversource’s request to remove or prune over three dozen trees along four scenic roads in Sudbury.  You immediately approved removal of six high-risk trees, but deferred the others for study.  That effort will include a site visit with the Eversource arborist to inspect the selected trees, which are marked so the public can see which trees are involved. I appreciate your willingness to spend the time on a site visit so you can make a more informed decision.  It’s important that hazardous trees be removed promptly, but it’s also gratifying that you take time to determine which other trees should be removed and which can stay.
