Patrons in and around Sudbury have a new lunch option at a stalwart in the Sudbury restaurant scene. Da Vinci Bistro on Boston Post Road in Sudbury has added lunch Friday through Sunday, from 11:30 to 2:30.
The lunch menu is almost entirely differentiated from the existing dinner menu; chicken and shrimp can be added to any of them. There are four salads to choose from, including a caprese. The “primi” course is rounded out by eggplant rollatini and meatballs.
The lunch menu adds pizza to the mix as an entree, including a classic margherita pizza and a mushroom pizza finish with truffle oil. Pasta dishes prioritize simplicity and the quality ingredients that have been a hallmark of the restaurant since it opened. Cacio e Pepe catches the eye as one of the classic Italian dishes that is not featured as an entree on the dinner menu, though it is available as a side or as part of the three-course menu option. The popular rigatoni bolognese and chicken parmesan from the dinner menu made it onto the lunch menu. However, the new additions like pork milanese with arugula salad or the chicken penne, served with broccoli and alfredo sauce, look like must-try dishes at lunch.
The menu is here. Lunch service is Friday through Sunday, 11:30 to 2:30. The restaurant is located at 457 Boston Post Road in Sudbury. Reservations for lunch and dinner can be made using the Resy app.
