Ezra Home Care was founded by Alexander Schechter in 2008 as he wanted to bring a high quality, conceirge level of home care services to the Greater Boston area. The Ezra Home Care Team works to understand the needs of our clients and their families. We listen. We know that last minute changes and emergencies can happen. Our clients know that we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Our objective is to establish a personal connection between our client, their family, and the caregiver(s) assigned to our client’s care. That’s why, when needed, we provide all our clients with a summary about the caregiver(s) during the planning phase.

6 — How does your team tailor care to meet the specific needs of seniors and families in MetroWest communities like Sudbury, Framingham, or Natick?
Ezra Home Care is here to provide compassionate and flexible care for those who need supportive care services, including seniors allowing them to maintain independence in the comfort of their homes or in a community. Respite care (short term), longer term care and even live-in care can be providing for the specific need of the client. Each client is met personally with a home assessment visit by Ezra Home Care’s Client Service Director, an individualized care plan is created for the specific needs of the client and reviewed with the family and each caregiver assigned to the client is screened for their care expertise and care experience before being placed with a client.

Ezra Home Care is a proud member of the Sudbury & Charles River Regional Chamber of Commerce, a member of the ACMA (American Case Management Association) and AJMA (American Jewish Medial Association). Ezra Home Care is also active in the community volunteering at events for the Alzheimer’s Association, Friendship Works and partnering with local libraries, Councils on Aging and Caregiver Support groups to provide educational programming.
