Zayith Tapas and Bar has announced a soft launch of their new tapas restaurant on Boston Post Road in Sudbury. They’re booking two seatings per night between February 7 and 9, with a 20 percent discount on your bill. RSVP is required, and can be done on their website here.
The website describes their menu as an adventure across a number of cuisines “Our menu is a mosaic of small plates inspired by the rich gastronomic heritage of France, Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Morocco, Egypt, Spain, Italy and the larger Mediterranean region. From savory bites to tantalizing snacks, each dish is crafted with passion and precision, inviting you to savor the essence of each culture.
Their launch menu also posted on their website here. Dishes are clearly labeled as vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and containing tree nuts or shellfish for anyone with dietary restrictions or allergies. Options range from classic Spanish tapas like potato bravas and pan con tomate, to urfa dusted big eye tuna served with crispy falafel and whipped lemon tahini. The menu is seafood-forward, offering fried smelts with garlic oil, lemon and olive oil, or a grilled octopus dish with lime poached potatoes, grilled lemon and kale. You’ll also find ketafi wrapped prawns, and a salmon zarzuela in a saffron seafood broth.
Vegan and vegetarian offerings appear to get the full creative treatment as well. The vegan-friendly cauliflower steak main dish is served with fried onion, mint, black lentil, cherry tomatoes, and cashew cream. The spiced squash fritters are also vegan-friendly and are served with pomegranate, basil, romanesco, pistachio and cashew dukkah.
One thing is certain – the proprietors are eager to welcome guests to their Sudbury restaurant. “Zayith offers a warm and inviting atmosphere where friends and family can gather to share good food and create lasting memories.”
